Our office came across an interesting page this week saying that “We are aware of the YouTuber Patty Mayo and his activities in Deschutes County. Mr. Mayo is not a member of law enforcement, nor affiliated in any way with any sheriff’s office in Oregon.”
What we found interesting most was that the Oregon Sheriff’s Offices want to be clear that Patty Mayo does not work with them. And we don’t know what other activities Patty Mayo’s crew is involved with in other states and counties but we do want to make it clear that they have been here in Dutch Berry more permanently since the beginning of the year.
We thought this header on their page was hilarious too,

Another paragraph for the page says this:
“[Patty Mayo] is an actor, and the uniform he wears is a costume. Additionally, every person featured in his videos are part of his production crew or are paid actors/actresses. Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has met with Mr. Mayo and advised him that filming his videos in public locations cannot continue without the proper security, permits (if needed), and road closures. Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has also expressed their concern and strongly encouraged him and other actors not to be in public locations in their costumes.”
At this time, we, the Dutch Berry Sheriff’s Office, want to thank Patty Mayo for his help in fighting crime here in Dutch Berry. We’re not sure what Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has against Patty Mayo, what the relationship between Patty Mayo and the Oregon Sheriff’s Offices is, or even what Patty Mayo was involved in before he and his team came to Dutch Berry, but we do know that we are extremely thankful that he is here now and they’re taking care of business at the park!
Make sure you FOLLOW PATTY MAYO on YouTube and comment on all the Dutch Berry Sheriff’s Office (aka DBSO) videos!
What the *bleep* is going on at this park???
